General conditions of sales
Preliminary Information
The general terms of use should be read carefully. They constitute the elements of the service contract offered by Reveal Interior Architecture. Your order will only be processed once you have accepted the general terms of sale.
Every client acknowledges having read this document before signing a quote with the "approved" mention and confirms their capacity to enter into a contract with Reveal Interior Architecture.
Signing a quote from Reveal Interior Architecture constitutes acceptance of these terms.
The provider’s working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (GMT+11). The provider agrees to inform clients with ongoing contracts of any vacation dates.
Reveal Interior Architecture reserves the right to modify these general terms of sale at any time.
Reveal, represented by Audrey EDO, is a company offering 2D and 3D visuals, interior design advice, decoration, upcycling, and custom furniture creation. We assist clients in conceptualizing their interior design and/or renovation projects for one or more rooms in their (future) home.
Reveal Interior Architecture provides interior design concepts in the form of mood boards, 2D and 3D plans, realistic photo visuals, color perspectives, 3D modeling, and shopping lists. The client (hereafter referred to as “the client”) is any person requesting services from Reveal Interior Architecture for planning, concept research, and interior design.
Reveal, a microenterprise, is registered under the RIDET number 1 392 851.003, with its headquarters located in Nouméa 98800, New Caledonia.
Article 1: Website & Contractual Commitment
The Reveal Interior Architecture website’s main purpose is to provide information about services. Reveal only processes firm orders after a quote has been signed with the “approved” mention. No orders are processed through the website. It allows you to obtain information or request an appointment or quote. You show your commitment and acceptance of these terms by signing the quote prepared by Reveal. From this point, the order will be firmly accepted, binding both parties. You will be committed to paying the amount indicated on the quote, and Reveal Interior Architecture will be committed to delivering all the services listed in the quote.
The client, before signing the quote, declares having read the general terms of sale. No adjustments will be accepted, even on an exceptional basis.
Article 2: Services
The services provided by Reveal Interior Architecture are defined before scheduling an appointment. These services may include, depending on the client’s needs: 2D and 3D plans, perspectives, layout proposals, concepts, materials, colors, furniture, and shopping lists. Responses are intended only to provide information on possible changes (space, color, materials, lighting) and do not constitute a consultation with a design office.
Once the advisory service or any other agreed element in the quote is completed and provided to the client, the client cannot use subjective arguments (e.g., taste) to justify a complete redo of the work or refuse to pay for the services they have committed to. However, exceptional adjustments may be made at the discretion of the interior designer upon the client's request.
This list is not exhaustive, and Reveal Interior Architecture reserves the right to add, remove, or modify any service if deemed necessary. The client will be informed of such changes if they affect them.
Reveal Interior Architecture only works upon client request. The date and location of the services are agreed upon by phone or email between Reveal Interior Architecture and the client.
Article 3: Appointment Scheduling
You can request an appointment via the website under the Contact section, by phone at +687 78 86 16, or by email at reveal.architecture.nc@gmail.com.
Article 4: Acceptance of the Quote
After the quote is prepared, if the client agrees to proceed with the service, they must sign the quote and pay a deposit as specified. This quote will set the location, date, terms, and price of the service. The duration of the service may vary based on the request, client availability, and the work required.
Article 5: Fees
The prices charged by Reveal Interior Architecture are listed in CFP francs or euros excluding VAT and including VAT, as TGC is not applicable. Quotes are valid for seven days from receipt by the client. A payment schedule may be specified in the quote. The client must adhere to their commitment upon receipt of each invoice. The quote will only be considered final and validated when it is signed, dated, returned, and accompanied by the signed general terms of use.
Additional charges may include:
-
Modifications requested or resulting from an omission by the client during the project if they involve a revision of the project.
-
Travel outside Nouméa necessary for the proper execution of the contract.
-
With the provider's agreement, an additional emergency fee (5% surcharge on the daily rate) will be charged for services requested outside the defined working days and hours or if the order is processed ahead of other ongoing orders.
Article 6: Payment Method and Default
The client guarantees that they have the necessary authorizations to use the chosen payment method when signing the quote. The client may pay their order:
-
By bank transfer after signing the quote. Reveal’s bank details will be provided once the quote is validated and signed. The project will proceed once the payment is credited to Reveal's account.
Default of payment results in immediate demand for all outstanding amounts. Late payment penalties are 7% per day, and amounts are due without specific request from the provider. In case of non-payment, the client will be subject to legal action and will bear all costs associated with recovering the amounts due, including a fixed collection fee of 40 Euros or 4,774 XPF. Any fraudulent use of a payment method will be subject to legal action.
Any request for additional services not included in the initial quote will require a supplementary quote.
Article 7: Payment Terms
For services such as "Interior Architecture - Turnkey Project," "Interior Decoration," and "Layout," the payment terms will be specified in the quote.
Article 8: Service Execution
The provider commits to completing the task specified in the quote according to industry standards and in the best possible manner.
The provider will deliver documents related to the service. For remote services, documents will be sent by email to the address provided at the time of order. Delays due to server or network issues are not the responsibility of Reveal.
For remote services, the order will be completed within 6 weeks from the day after Reveal receives payment.
For "Interior Architecture - Turnkey Project" services, the order will be completed within 6 to 8 weeks depending on the project’s scope.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing between the provider and the client, Reveal reserves the right to choose the location where the service will be carried out. The client agrees not to impose physical presence or travel on the provider regardless of the location or phase of the mission.
Article 9: Cancellation and Withdrawal
Any rescheduling of appointments must occur no later than 48 hours before the scheduled intervention. Both parties will agree on a new date.
Under Article L121-17 of the Consumer Code, the client has a 7-day withdrawal period from the date of signing the quote. To withdraw, the request must be made via a durable medium, such as sending an email indicating your intention to withdraw to reveal.architecture.nc@gmail.com.
If withdrawal occurs outside this period, the client will forfeit the deposit paid.
Article 10: Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
All intellectual property rights and know-how incorporated into documents provided during the service remain the exclusive property of Reveal. All documents are for the client’s personal use only. The client is prohibited from reproducing or reselling these documents. Both parties agree to maintain general confidentiality on all oral or written information exchanged during the service, both during and after the contract’s term.
The client authorizes Reveal Interior Architecture to take photos of their interior before and after the service for promotional purposes. Reveal may reproduce and modify these photos as needed and use them on all available media (magazines, TV, web, mobile, etc.). Reveal commits to respecting the client’s anonymity. Photos, images, and graphics on the website or commercial documents are illustrative of the services offered and are not contractual.
Reveal owns the sketches, visuals, and illustrations created for your property or other intervention sites.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise by the client, the provider reserves the right to include a commercial mention in the work, such as "Created by Reveal Interior Architecture," where applicable, and a hyperlink to their commercial website.
Article 11: Liability
Reveal is not responsible for the execution of the work and cannot be held liable for poor execution by a third party.
When Reveal Interior Architecture provides plans, these plans are for indicative purposes only. The client must ensure that the external provider will use and validate the final dimensions before starting work.
Reveal Interior Architecture is not liable for any damages resulting from the implementation of its design and layout proposals by the client.
The interior designer is neither the project owner nor the project manager in the execution of work and therefore does not bear contractual responsibility. Reveal does not act as an architect.
In case of dispute, the client can only seek recourse against the implicated provider. Reveal’s role is limited to assisting the client in monitoring deadlines, budget, communication, and aesthetic outcomes. Any contractual breaches, delays, defects, or hidden faults attributable to a third party cannot be blamed on Reveal.
Article 12: Force Majeure
Execution deadlines will be respected unless there is a case of force majeure.
Force majeure or unforeseen events include situations beyond the parties’ control, which they could not reasonably foresee or avoid, rendering the fulfillment of obligations impossible.
Examples include strikes, illness, fire, flood, war, production stops due to unforeseen breakdowns, epidemics, thaw barriers, roadblocks, strikes, telecommunication network shutdowns, or supply interruptions.
In such cases, Reveal will notify the client in writing, including by email, within 24
